QTMS services

Assembly - Installation of robust and certified hardware

QTMS hardware is fitted directly to trains in service and is certified to international standards:

EN50155 –Electronic equipment for rolling stock.

EN50121-3-2 – Electromagnetic compatibility.

IP65 – Protection against dust and water jets.

The hardware is developed to withstand Sweden's harsh climate and conditions, including snow, ice and vibrations, ensuring operational reliability all year round.

Data collection - Continuous and high resolution measurement

QTMS collects data from every millimetre of the tracks, around the clock. The collection includes:

Track geometry, track width and vibrations.

Wear, unevenness and acoustic anomalies (e.g. curve squeal).

Real-time defects such as defective sleepers and decaying joints.

The continuous collection complements the periodic inspections of the measuring wagons by providing a continuous picture of the track condition.

Analytics - AI-based processing of big data

Using advanced algorithms, QTMS analyses collected data to identify:

Locations with deviations that exceed limits.

Position where trends indicate future exceedances of limits.

Anomalous heavy impacts linked to plant objects or unidentified problems.

The analysis allows the track owner to act proactively and prioritise the right actions.

Delivery - Clear insights and reports
