Imagine a technology that not only monitors, but predicts problems on the rails. The Quiet Track Monitoring System (QTMS) uses advanced sensors and AI to give you an unprecedented view of track condition - in real time, all the time.

QTMS provides a continuous and accurate picture of track condition, enabling predictive maintenance based on real data, simplifying maintenance prioritization, making it more proactive, minimizing disruption, optimizing resources, and lowering costs while increasing safety and reliability.

Gain the ability to see the invisible, prioritize and act before the unexpected happens.

"When we started looking into the possibilities of digitizing the maintenance of our railways, QTMS stood out as the most interesting solution"

High-tech sensors

QTMS sensors mounted on trains to collect continuous and real-time data on track conditions. The sensors fitted are robust and can withstand both cold winters and hot summers.

Every millimeter of the tracks is measured and you get information on:

  • Track geometry
  • Track roughness
  • Severe wear
  • Rail head defects
  • Vibations
  • Sound pressure

Advanced software that generates alerts

Skärmavbild 2024-03-14 kl. 16.06.36

QTMS uses a web-based software developed in collaboration with IBM. This software analyzes and presents the large amounts of data collected by the system's sensors. QTMS provides real-time monitoring and predictive analysis of track conditions. It allows users to visualize data on an interactive map, where they can zoom in to see detailed information about specific segments of the railway.

The software automatically generates alerts and updates when it detects potential problems that exceed pre-set thresholds, enabling rapid action to prevent more serious damage.

Tested and certified to standard

The hardware of the train system has been tested and approved according to the requirements of railway applications and rolling stock.
