Tyréns Sverige AB has, with the QTMS solution, been awarded a contract in SL’s procurement of sensor-based monitoring. The contract runs for 3+2+2+2 years, starting in February 2026. 

The assignment includes a system for vehicle-mounted data collection as well as analysis and visualisation tools that present measurement results in a web-based interface. The system shall provide SL, in its role as infrastructure owner, with a consolidated overview of track condition based on data collected from vehicles in regular traffic.

Data collection shall be carried out from traffic vehicles in regular passenger service, with the possibility of measurement in the Metro (TB1, TB2, TB3) as well as the Tvärbanan and the Roslagsbanan, subject to the completion of the necessary safety approvals. The contract also includes an option for the Saltsjöbanan.

QTMS (Quiet Track Monitoring System) is Tyréns’ system for continuous, sensor-based monitoring of track infrastructure. The system is used for the collection, processing, and presentation of measurement data from vehicles in regular traffic.
